The Story of This Object
A hand-knotted Beni Ourain rug made by a weaving cooperative in the Middle Atlas Mountains of Morocco. The wool is from local sheep, washed in mountain streams, and spun by hand before weaving. The geometric pattern is traditional to the Beni Ourain tribe and carries meaning — each symbol a small story. This rug will last for decades and look better as it ages.
