The Story of This Object
Three planters, three sizes, each thrown individually on a wheel in our studio in Portland. The clay body is a warm buff stoneware; the glaze is applied in a single dip and fired to cone 6, producing the characteristic speckled surface where the iron in the clay bleeds through. Each has a drainage hole and a matching saucer. They look best grouped together.

Priya trained as a botanist before discovering ceramics in her late twenties.
