The Story of This Object

Four bowls, each thrown individually on a wheel by a ceramicist in Asheville, North Carolina. Because they are hand-thrown, each one is slightly different — a millimeter taller here, a slightly deeper curve there. The glaze is a warm ivory with a faint blush at the rim where it thins. They are dishwasher safe, but they are the kind of thing you want to wash by hand.

Sarah M. crafts each piece with deliberate attention to material and form. Every item from The Copper Whisk carries the mark of a maker who chose this work as a calling, not a convenience.

Meet the Maker

Sarah M.

Owner of 🥘 The Copper Whisk · Kitchen Avenue

Sarah grew up watching her grandmother cook in a kitchen full of copper pans that had been in the family for three generations. When she couldn't find that same quality in modern cookware, she started sourcing it herself — first for her own kitchen, then for a small circle of friends, then for the world. The Copper Whisk is built on a single belief: the tools you cook with matter as much as the ingredients you use.
